Why Thermal Imaging
When an electrical fault occurs, the circuits on your premises may become abnormally hot in certain areas. It’s difficult to spot these problems early, as they don’t typically display any visual symptoms. However, left unchecked, the excess heat can lead to power outages, or even explosions, sometimes with expensive results.
Thermo imaging can help identify faults in your electrical system. Using infrared sensors, a thermography scan will reveal the full spectrum of heat signatures present in the circuits and various pieces of equipment on your premises.

ELECTRICAL DATA LOGGING
Rael Electrical & Data provides electrical data logging services for customers who need reliable information about their power quality and energy consumption.
An Electricity Data Logger, also known as a Power Analyser or Power Quality Analyser enables us to capture a range of measurements over a period of time, typically one week to two weeks. Our specialised data logger is capable of recording measurements on periods ranging from a few seconds, to every hour.
Data logging is useful for recording measurements of both single phase and 3-phase power such as:
· Voltage of each phase
· Current in each phase
· True power: W, KW, MW.
· Power: KWH, KVAH, KVARH, PFH.
· Power factor
· Phase angle
· Frequency
· Transients
· Harmonics
The Power Analyser stores all the measurements and the data is downloaded as a spreadsheet, complete with graphs to help analyse the trends in the power usage, quality and to help identify any problems.
